GREEN AUDIO

With our planet in jeopardy and the environment on the mind of every concerned citizen, the word “Green” no longer simply designates a position on the color wheel or the hue of one’s envy as one sees the neighbor’s SUV. It connotes a lifestyle choice or product design that respects the fabric of the planet we have been given and that strives to conserve that planet’s vast array of materials and resources. Today, we see this green expression in the type and number of high efficiency hybrid and diesel automobiles on our highways and the windmills that collect energy from the sky. We catch a glimpse of this spirit as we observe new solar panels installed on roofs across the land and see energy efficiency stickers on EVERY appliance in the big stores.

Veloce Audio is committed to this same green spirit. We set out to make the world’s best audio electronics, but the goal was not to be achieved at “whatever the price”, at least not as far as energy usage was concerned. We saw no reason that preamps should draw 150 watts from the AC line 24/7 to sound their best. The idea of power amp consuming 300, 400 or even 500 watts (each in the case of monoblocks) was repellant. We knew that there had to be a better way.

Our unique battery technology and SmartSupply™ interface finally gave us what we were striving for – world class power for world class electronics! That the Veloce system uses minuscule amounts of electricity during operation and charging and limits waste is further testament to our ground breaking design.
